Since the campaign began, over 45,000 people have shown their support, contributing to the museum's goal of £3.5m. This incredible response highlights the public's eagerness to preserve historical artifacts.

Simon Thurley, chairman of the National Heritage Memorial Fund, added: "The Tudor Heart offers an exceptional glimpse into Henry VIII's court. I'm thrilled that our support will ensure its public display."
The museum plans to officially add the pendant to its collection later this year, and it has ambitious plans for a UK tour.
